As I have mentioned, a great polish is already in place
before we go to the actual polishing which in most
cases is done on this 6" felt rubber backed pad.  Various
compounds can be used on this pad although in
most cases we use pure Cerium Oxide for anything
with Quartz & Tin Oxide for anything softer.  This
compound is used with water.

This is Cody, our 9 year old grandson & he is learning
to be a lapidary like his Grandpa some day.
